We had many polls on Johto level curve, and the overwhelming majority (85-95%) never experienced this issue. It's a meme.

This is the thing that puzzles me. Whenever people try to elaborate on why GSC level curve is bad, they all come up with completely different and often contradictory accounts.

I have read at least 50 different versions of why the level curve is bad. Meanwhile I never encountered any of those problems.
