It really bothers me how much scrapped Z content is found in gen 7. Like the Zygarde cubes, new Zygarde forms, the half-assed lore about how Zygarde senses the portals etc. Not to mention gen 7's big gimmick "Z-Moves" and "Z-Crystals" must be a reference to Zygarde in some shape or form because it was never explained what the Z stood for in SM.
Z could have been amazing game that made up for XY's shortcomings, just like how Platinum made up for Diamond and Pear. What a tremendous waste.
