there is not only a lack of gays in the mainline games, but noone is ever really portrayed as straight: because noone in the pokemon world actually wnts to bone
If youre not going to include romance in your story i dont care about what sexuality these characters are, its gonna feel like you forced diversity if you make gay characters that dont actually matter
Generally when portraying sexuality youll have to be more subtle. Two dudes having a picnic would probably ask to be left alone and not explicitly mention that they want to have a romantic moment.
OP probably isnt actually the dev but a falseflagge but in case any of the devs lurk this thread, take notes.
