>>42896393I personally friggin’ love Decidueye and all, and while I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Rillaboom, it’s cursed with being overshadowed by Cinderace and Inteleon since they’re equally appealing and controversial in the fandom, while Rillaboom’s design isn’t out of the ordinary at all. That, and it’s a monotype, which just made things more difficult for it.
It’s the same scenario for Chesnaught. Fantastic design, but it doesn’t the same spark of controversy and appeal like a Delphox and Greninja have.
