I think the first time anyone discovers Pokemon as a child, it's equally magically.
The only difference between someone 16 and someone 26 is the fact that before I discovered Pokemon, it didn't exist.
The religious nonsense was kinda silly too, had a few people tell me that Pokemon stood for "pocket demons" and that all the Pokemon were named after pagan gods.
I mean who could forget the powerful gods "Mr. Mime" and "Diglet"
And one last thing about Pokemania... Fuck our gameboys that needed batteries and our fucking transfer cables.
The 3DS is infinitely better than anything we had in every way.
