Actually, it's this. Sure, every new gen made me waver a bit on my love for Pokemon, but this was the one that killed it good and for one reason alone: Dexcut. Now, I STILL can't play with my bromon even after all of the DLCs and it has killed the very appeal of this franchise to begin with, catching them ALL. And they were REWARDED for it with high sales. Gen5 will be memed to death here, regardless, but at the very least I can play all of my bros there.
