Quite a bit has happened since I last opened; Groudon got woke, a submarine was stolen, a strange man made robotic versions of himself to ask me trivia questions... you know, the works. Some tragedy occurred too, though. Two pokemon were lost to the Psychic gym.
Kaboom got trapped in a fight with a Wobbuffet... which felt like a death sentence itself. Kaboom launched a thunderbolt, and Wobbuffet mirrored back a burst of energy, obliterating my sentient pokeball... I'll miss you, Kaboom. You loved zapping team aqua to smithereens. Dealing with Archie will be harder without you.
When I lost Kaboom, I realized I needed to consider rethinking my plans. I tried fishing on the Mossdeep shores, but only got 3 wailmers in a row, while I had already caught a Wailmer with my good rod in Lilycove. Luckily, I managed to get to Mossdeep and only run into TWO pokemon, so I still had one chance to fish up something on Route 124 with the Super Rod. I fished up an evil wet torpedo shark. Nice.
Jiggy's death hit me hard. Before I went aganist the psychic twins, I gave him two rare candies, to just get him evolved and ready to fight if I needed him. He felt like the only viable option when I needed to switch two of my pokemon out and... gosh. It's all a blur. I'm sorry, Jiggy. I'm just glad that after millions of years, you finally got to evolve... and I'm so, so sorry you only got to experience your new powerhouse form for only moments...
Who should be on this team? I remember I left behind an Electrode in Team Aqua's base that should still be pretending to be a pokeball... and since I've lost Kaboom, now I would be allowed to go catch it. I have plenty of other pokemon to choose from, though, and replacing Kaboom so soon feels... disrespectful?
