>>34725702For me, it's how disconnected it looks. The shell looks more like a cape or trash can lid attached to the thing's back than an organic, living shell. Then there's the arms, which look like weird noodle airplane wings instead of what I'm guessing are supposed to be brawny, armored arms. The whole shield gimmick is well and fine, but it literally comes out of nowhere, and while it looks cool, you see it for like half a second. Then there's the body, which again would look better if it was actually connected to the shell. Maybe they could've just made it really fluffy or something to hide it, but no. Don't even get me started on how cool the animal inspiration is and how badly it was butchered (compare to sceptile, a leaf tailed gecko). Yet another starter that'd look better on all fours. Imagine chensaught like pic related, with a warhammer tail, little horns on its head, and obviously more proportional arms so it could walk on all fours. It'd be great.
