>>53568603Something to think about (not something I'm saying definitely do; only to consider):
>Transfer to another location - might be a more fun and positive atmosphere>Look into working for another bank - one that has a better work culture/benefits>Use your experience at a bank to get a job in a different industry>Forget about your experience and start fresh in an entirely different job environmentMoving locations sometimes helps. Did for me (I don't work at a bank, though).
>>53568616I hear ya. Make sure you make it clear during the hiring process that you can only work certain hours/days. Stretch the truth if you have to (or just lie, make up a reason why you can't work certain hours/days). If the person hiring you won't guarantee it, walk. Be firm, but still prove you'd be an asset to hire, so you give the person doing the hiring an incentive to go along with your availability. If you aren't ready for full time work, don't agree to it. Don't put yourself in a situation you're going to hate/struggle with day one. Over time, if you feel you're able to handle more hours, make it known to your employer that you can take on some extra hours, but make it clear you can't work more than you're offering. Take on more only when you feel you're ready.
