>Gen 6Again, more friends than actual rivals. The fat fuck and ginger are annoying, but Shauna is pretty cute, and Serena/Calem actually had character development as well as a decent team.
>Gen 7Hau is shit, Gladion is cool but underused, Lillie is cute but not a rival. Guzma was cool but he's the leader of the evil team, so I don't consider him a rival either.
Overall, Gen 4 was the peak. Barry was the last good rival we had. Gen 8 had potential with Bede, but him being a monotype Fairy shitter takes away any potential threat he may have otherwise posed.
