>>29506557Her intentions were noble, her methods were not only flawed, but selfish and unwise as well. That's the point her critics are making.
It's pretty foolish to think "nuh uh, this is the only way to save the world." Mossdeep and Devon had two. TWO fucking solutions. The first one was to detonate a nuke of Pokemon fueled energy on the meteor and that plan went to shit because Aqua/Magma. The second was time-space displacement which was thrown in the trash because Zinnia thought -- that's right, THOUGHT it would slip through dimensions by accident somehow.
Even if the latter method worked, her reasoning was "Oh, well that sounds too good to be true. If you want get results, you have to make sacrifices." Where does she get off? Does she not know that science and engineering are long, taxing arduous processes? The sacrifice in one's time and physical/mental energy to make a teleportation device doesn't sound like a small feat by any stretch of the imagination and she just took a dragon-sized shit on someone's hard work and compromise just because it didn't suit her criteria of a solution.
This is why Zinnia is hated, you know. She's an invalidating cunt who's so set in her ways that no one else can be right like her. The big middle finger was when Rayquaza is like "NOPE!" and the only reason why no one died is because May/Brendan found a shiny rock in a cave, which is conveniently retarded.
