Piers replies "That's why you can't tell anyone, please. Marnie is special to me, our whole lives we've really only had each other, and I'll lose her if this gets out"
"You'll be cool bout this, right Glory? Piers can just give you the badge and we can all forget about this?" Marnie tacks on.
Gloria thinks for a moment. She had no intention of telling anyone what happened, how would she even start to explain it? However, she respects the gym challenge too much to just take a badge as a bribe. All these confusing feelings flood her mind, but the most entrancing of them is a desire for Piers and Marnie's bodies. "Where is this feeling coming from?" She thinks. She's never felt this way before, but now it's all that comes to mind.
"I don't want the badge, let me earn it fair and square. Maybe...we can make another deal?"
Piers and Marnie are intrigued. "What sort of deal? I don't make much money as gym leader of the least popular gym, so I can't pay you if that's what you mean", states Piers.
