These concepts aren't big enough to warrant their own full-scale game these days but the existance of the eShop means that Nintendo can release smaller-scale games at a lower price. 3D models for every Pokemon already exists so I'm surprised that they aren't using them in more games. Even if they made these F2P games with in-game purchases, I'm sure that people would be more likely to spend money on these than they would on Rumble or Shuffle.
