EX: 2-3 of these are required to clear EX content
A: Fills your EX hole if you don't have the mission's EX
B: Pretty damn good pairs that have a fatal flaw that prevents them from entering A. It could be low BP moves despite high stats or vice versa, it could be a lack of an EX mission for their typing to excel in, they might have a useless passive or something else that stops them from be A ranked BASE. Any striker here enters A rank if you get enough dupes to get them to 5/5. Individual placement within this tier is highly debatable but I'm confident all of them can tackle non-EX content.
C: Essentially rogue picks for specific strategies and fights. No one here has EX potential.
D: Total shit
