>NoctowlI'd say Noctowl miiiiiiiiiight still be used somewhere, but I'm not holding my breath. The other birds seem to be better contenders, although I'd like to see him being Ash's only shiny and all.

so how about Gengar and Lucario? Lucario might make an appearance in the Greninja ep, either as a reserve or a cameo (sensing the bond phenomenon from Oak's, just like how Greninja sensed him pulling up a kyodai hadou dan twice). Gengar? it's too popular to not be used. plus there's a good chance they miiiiiiiight recreate that Nidorino vs Gengar scene from the games.
