>>51572774>>51572750The Typhlosion and the rest of the Cyndaquil line was always popular, it was just severely underrated compared to other fire starters due to Typhlosion never getting the spotlight in anything except a decades old special that thrown under the bus by TPC. It's hard to keep a steady stream of new fans if you don't get any exposure
As for the Hisuain Typhlosion many people didn't like it due to their first impression being the awkward leaked models, and even when they got a better look at it some didn't like how it's personality was different from the original (they were expecting something more aggressive, and even then other fans felt that the Legend starters should have gotten megas/battle bond forms instead.
However, many people seem to be warming up to it now.
