Three of my five favourite Pokemon all have similar stats and movepools (though Hypno is generally the worst). I'm lucky that Musharna is great in doubles as a support Pokemon, and Grumpig is a good special wall in the (really) low tiers, but Hypno has a shit/10 movepool (especially without tutors), a really awkward speed of 67 and not even good offenses to make up for it (both 73).
My other two favourites are Vileplume and Volbeat, so there's not a lot of hope there either.
