>>18872017It always comes to mind that the existence of Steelix in the wild would render the design of big cities with tall buildings obsolete. Even if there were just about a couple of hundreds of them in the world.
Think about it. Train-sized steel worms tunneling beneath the ground at the speed of a train. Imagine the quakes that shit would cause, and the frequency of it. Besides they'd be really hard to track down if they don't feel like fighting anybody, even if they're not actually running away from people: first off, even finding their tunnel it went through would be really difficult, and that's assuming it hasn't collapsed behind it. Then IF they found the tunnel, they can but hope it hasn't indeed collapsed. Then if by luck it hasn't collapsed, they still have to catch up to what is pretty much a speeding train, and then fight it in a narrow tunnel where it has an amazing advantage anyway.
Flooding the tunnels isn't much of an option, considering the sheer size and length of them.
That shit would be like Kaiju movies x Tremors.
