I know even in recent gens not all the new mons are strictly based on the region they're in. Look at Lokix and Kingambit in Paldea, but some do
I think some islands have the Asian elephant, so maybe an evo for Copperajah. That thing is very frail despite how bulky it looks. Leaks also suggest the new mechanic is weather based. So perhaps a magnetic weather that give all steel-types levitate and immunity to being grounded. Maybe a new magnetic-themed mon or alternate evo for Magneton that automatically sets up that weather upon switching in.
