I haven't actually been LOOKING for a shiny recently mind you, it's just strange I haven't had one for so long. I'm on to the last few dregs of Pokemon that I'm breeding decent stats for incase I want to use them.
I just went out 5 mins ago, picked up a Galarian Stunfisk in a Safari ball and came back to breed it. Not gonna lie I was almost on the verge of accepting the VERY first batch despite them having bad stats because I've got a ton of gold bottle caps to spare, but something compelled me to do another batch, lo and behold the first hatch from the next batch was this little fucker.
Gonna let you in on a secret too, I tend to prefer getting shinies of things most people aren't gonna hunt, and let's be honest Galarian Stunfisk isn't going to be highly sought after for most people, so I'm quite happy to say the least. A nice surprise.
