But that has nothing to do with why adults like the games and everything to do with why they are liking it less. The problem is they are becoming increasingly child oriented. First couple of gens didn't treat you like a child with tutorials and all that shit, and characters in game rarely reminded you that the PC is a child. The graphical limitations made the games look significantly less cartoony then they do now. Even the original 151 pokemon's sprites have become all cute and toddlery. I don't think they should target the games towards adults only, but they should stop lowering the target demographic. Its like they went from targeting 12 yr olds to targeting 3 yr olds over the years
