er well, one of them. original plans for XY had two opposing factions of aliens, one from the moon that had migrated long ago and one a recent invader. Kind of an ancient japanese idea of mythological moon people vs modern western idea of secret alien conspiracies.
Pointing to XY, or even things/people from XY that got repurposed for USUM, is really shaky ground for anti-alien-theory proof.
