>>44597591Clair went down without any casualties, but I had trouble in Radio Tower. I kept missclicking moves which caused the death of Tiny Bird and Fire Mouse. RIP. I'm going to go fetch some last few Pokemon and grind my team, and then I'm good to fight the Elite Four.
>>44599221Thanks dude. I'll keep that in mind during HGSS.

>>44600261Oh I didn't you were nuzlocking a ROM hack for your first nuzlocke ever. I recommend adding some rules as they are adopted by most modern nuzlockers.
>Dupes Clause: If the first Pokemon you encounter is of the same evolutionary of a Pokemon you already have, the encounter doesn't count. This is mainly to prevent your team from having too many of the same Pokemon. The main appeal of nuzlocking is to use Pokemon that you wouldn't normally use, so having a team full of the same used Pokemon is not fun.
>Level Cap: You can only level your Pokemon up to the Gym Leader's ace Pokemon. This is mainly to prevent people from overgrinding their Pokemon and unga bungaing through the game without any real challenge.
>No items in battleItems are overpowered because they have instant priority and can fully restore a Pokemon's HP bar. Recovery moves and berries are legal because they take up an item or move slot and they don't heal as much as health item.
Of course, you don't have to use any of these optional rules. How you nuzlocke is ultimately up to you. Since you're new to nuzlocking here are some tips I've learned over the years.
>Always assume your enemy's next move will crit>Try to play it as safe as possible; the riskier you play, the more you put your limited pool of Pokemon in danger>The AI in Pokemon is retarded. Abuse the AI as much as possible. This is especially true in Gen 1 where you can cheese Lance with a Poison Type. This doesn't work in Yellow. His Dragons don't have any Psychic type stat boosting moves.Have fun, newfriend.
