The only way I see any starters besides gen 1 and 8 making it in is if this game has something like the island scan from gen 7(which Marshtomp was one of), and even then the pokemon from island scan weren't part of the alola dex, so even if they brought island scan back exactly like gen 7, you still wouldn't be able to transfer... Fuck...
