New items are fine. I sort of like Eviolite.
Unova collectively has most of my current favourite pokemon in the series. There are some designs I do not care for but that comes with every generation.
Abilities were hit and miss. Stuff like zen mode showed good potential ruined by poor execution.
Despite the meta swarming with weather users it at least made a pokemon I like(ninetales) useful in a competitive setting and that leads to Hidden Abilities. I think Hidden Abilities are a great idea done mostly well. That still does not stop shit like jellicent getting damp but then remember rotom fan gets flying and Gamefreak can't be asked to fix stupid shit until years later or not at all.
Hidden Abilities are still great. RIP Dreamworld.
I like Gen 5 pros, cons and all. Ask /vp/ about another.
