Have you ever considered it? I have N2 so I could have gone the CIR route but I find office shit lame and gay and enjoy teaching kids as well, so the ALT role is a win-win for me.
I was even considering doing something with Pokemon cards as a possible thing to base lessons on. Could maybe show them the whole Mega EX thing with Japanese cards having the English 3D text and vice versa, Pokemon cards were a big inspiration for me learning Japanese personally.
