Not even my first shiny Garganacl, the previous one I found in Violet was sub-60 and caught in a Level Ball.
If I were better prepared I would've brought in a high-level Damp Pokémon.
Something I've been wondering about Beast Balls actually.
Since they only ever catch things in a critical catch, does reducing the target's HP or sporing them to sleep even matter? Or does that increase the critical catch rate?
