>>52304064My solution to level scaling would be to organize the gyms, titans, star bases, etc into 3 groups and have them scale within a certain range for each group, that way there's still a general sense of progression (group 1 gyms are all going to be easier than group 2 gyms) but within those groups you're free to choose your goals in order without having to worry about breaking the flow of the game.
For example SV would be structed as such.
Group 1 (10-20)
Bug Gym
Grass Gym
Klawf
Bombirdier
Dark Base
Group 2 (20-40)
Electric Gym
Water Gym
Normal Gym
Orthworm
Fire Base
Poison Base
Group 3 (40-60)
Ghost Gym
