If they showed some of the hype/cool ones instead it would probably have had a much smoother build-up. The shit designmons on top of everything else (dexit, tree, etc.) was the kindle that lit the fire, the rest was fuel that added to it.
In short, most of the backlash is whoever decided to reveal shitmons' fault. Whether that's Turner or someone else remains to be discovered.
