It'll just continue to get worse and worse until one day you'll see that it actually died and stops getting games, anime, merchandise and cards. After all of that, you'll look back and see that for every moment where you loved pokemon there were more heartbreaks. It's like losing a friend to an addiction and slowly witnessing them ruin their own lives. Don't let yourself be dragged down with them. Please, they would want you to be happy.
