Oh, by the way, Pokeballs don't exist, but Hospitals are capable of healing your pokemon. Seeing as pokeballs don't exist, try to keep in mind problems that may arise from certain Pokemon that are unable to live out of water or something like Zangoose and Seviper.
As for myself:
1. Torterra. If I'm gonna get pokemon, goddamnit I'm going on adventures. Who needs a car when you have an islandmobile?
Plus, he's pretty damn strong in his own right.
2. Golurk. I guess Golurk would smash shit up to do most of the fighting. Also he can fly, which is great but I doubt he could carry Torterra. Being a possessed suit of armor, I don't think he can get fatigued or really bothered by inclement weather, so I doubt he will mind walking aside Torterra or flying overhead.
3. Banette. Golurk is a bit big to chill under Torterra's tree and goddamn if Banette isn't cute. She's not terribly stronk in combat but she could hit pretty hard if given the chance. She would be the one who would follow me inside and shit seeing as Torterra and Golurk are far too big.
Although, honestly, I don't think I would be able to bring myself to make Torterra and Golurk sleep outside while I slept indoors. I would probably just set up a tent on Torterra's back.
