The whole "just grab a t-shirt&bandanna/hoodie and you are good to go" made them look amateurish, which kind of explained why no one really considered them a serious threat until shit finally hit the fan. And then Archie also looked like an Italian mob leader, while Maxie looked vaguely German, which I guess also added to it. And they no longer look exactly middle-aged.
So well, really, the difference is that in RSE they looked like homosexuals, while in ORAS they look like flaming hipster faggots. Like they are not even the same characters anymore.
