The spinoffs are usually great, the anime and mangas are comfy and the TCG is cool too.
The actual mainline games though... Speaking in terms of objective quality, there's no effort put into them. They always ship unfinished and are usually '1st year game dev student's first unity project' levels of polish.
Is there anything we can even do to improve the series? Even if Masuda died I doubt the games would get better since this business model of merch first, games second, seems to work very well.
