I mean, it's treating objects a pokemon carries as a part of the pokemon so why didn't it affect other objects? Like, why can't you dynamax a car or a building by that same logic you can't even say that it shouldn't work like that but clearly the energy can seep into the ground because max Mushrooms and the Dyna tree are a thing.
And during the darkest day it was only pokemon. That were affected even though Eternatus just maxed everything and on that note why weren't humans effected? Going by Sinnoh lore humans are just a type of pokemon. None of it makes any logical sense from a mechanical or design viewpoint.
