Took a while to recover from nearly losing the entire team at the Team Aether base, but I'd say we've built a pretty nice team. Found out a bit too late that you can't get waterfall until after the E4 though, so Poliwrath is kinda scuffed but oh well. She still has a role to play.
Switched the role of screen-setter to Skeleton the Klefki, since Prankster double screens is pretty damn nice. Being able to half the Trial Kommo-o's attack allowed the trial to go pretty smoothly. Gave Klefki Dazzling Gleam for just this fight to use up Kommo-o's berry and damage the ally Noivern. Then switched to Chesire the Gengar to dodge a Drain Punch and Boomburst then finish the fight with two more Dazzling Gleams. I wish shiny Gengar was cooler because this beauty is already saving my run. We haven't cleared a trial without a death since the very first I think, so that felt pretty great.
Only two more Z-Crystals remain, and we're edging ever closer to that dreaded Ultra Necrozma fight..
>>56138692Damn losing Rotom to a crit sucks, did it matter? Platinum is 100% your best shot at using Porygon, there's basically no other game in which it's really usable. Best shot in another game is HGSS I think and even there you need to go out of your way for it.
