The main issue is how the new Primal/Future Pokémon pretty much all have access to that energy item which gives them a 1.5 increase to either Attack, Special Attack or Speed.
The fact it gives you a choice boost without a restriction for already Pesudo Tier pokemon is one thing but mix that with Terratypes and you either sweep or get swept
