>>56950340>TQDavid doesn't believe in bad advice, because he learns them the hard way!
For example, when he got the Macho Brace, he overused it with his Pokémon. When he started losing, he went to a Pokécenter and they told "yeah, if you use it a lot, it actually hurts your pokémon because you are overworking his muscles."
So the time he saved in training, he wasted it on recovery. Never overwork yourself.
Another one was in Sinnoh: since the caves systems are big, people said "bring repels". He said "I can't beat zubats, no problem", but he got lost, and then it was zubats, geodudes, gravelers, bronzongs, golbats, and even a Rhyperior! He now never leaves without one single can.
>TTI can't get it to work, so I will make the one question from last thread. I will say that so far the only pokémon he has used as a mount were Dodrio and Tyrantrum. If I were to add the birds and the surf mounts, that would be a lot.
>>56944053I feel David would be a street bully, picking fights to just rob them "legally", since losing means paying up some dough.
The funny thing is that I wanted to put David in a soft GTA story in Unova, which forces him to leave the city relatively quickly. He managed to score all the badges, but left before leaving an impression in the Black Tower. Just one fight away from conquer it.
