I never had good luck when it came to capturing shinies and keeping them. In crystal, I found a shiny oddish in the forest with celebi, but had no pokeballs so I had to kill it with fire (respectively of course).
About thirty minutes later, I had purchased many pokeballs from goldenrod, and went roaming by the daycare, when I found a shiny drowzee. I pissed my carpet and threw all the balls I had, until the last one finally caught it. I was so excited, until my dad knocked it out of my hand and bumped the cartridge, causing my save to be corrupted. I was fairly sad. Still am.
When Ruby came out, before I could get any pokeballs, I found a shiny wurmple.
Now I wake up about an hour ago after passing out drunk, realizing I somehow made it to the elite 4 in X. I went to the pokebox to arrange my team, when I found two Zweilous (which was weird cause I only catch one of each poke). When I went over to release the second one, I froze when I saw it looking a little green around the gills.
What do I do with my life now?
