Could this fucker be one of the scrapped mons, as an easter egg if Tajiri or someone else helped with this volume, or was it just a fuckup by the writer? Considering it's supposedly a bug type and Tajiri liked his bugs it might have been an early concept which was scrapped. Maybe add a section of possible mons like this and Proto Ledian too, I think he's different enough from Beedrill to consider his own thing and not a redesign.
