>>41221739>>41222096The biggest issue is that Ralts and co. are very intelligent and very social. Without near constant engagement this can lead to destructive behavior and other problems. You can safely leave a Gothita on its own while you go to work or the store and it'll keep itself entertained, but a Ralts can find that loneliness very traumatic.
Ideally, if you raise a Ralts you'll want another Pokemon of some kind to keep it company. If you can't afford a second Ralts, a social Pokemon like Rockruff or a nurturing Pokemon like Audino can work well.
On the whole, while Gardevoir are a highly prized species of Pokemon, they're very difficult to raise correctly and I wouldn't recommend one for a beginner.
