Alright guys, i bought LGPE and made my own custom rules and i'm surprisingly having fun so i'll detail them:
-DO NOT USE YOUR STARTER BOX THIS RESKINNED ARCEUS IMMEDIATELY;
-Battles on set of course;
-You may catch pokemon but only a few to make sure you aren't overleveling, make sure to only use the pokemon you catch;
-Do not buy from shops, rare candies are banned;
No items in battle, a loss is a loss anon;
-If a pokemon is about to get overleveled, box it immediately and progress with lower mons or wild mons.
By following this set of rules i managed to actually wipe against Brock by reaching it at lvl 6, had trouble against the battle coaches, reached cerulean at lvl 12, and just wiped to Misty..
I recommend you give it a try and give your input about how it went later.
