Before the unveil of Necrozma, there was speculation on what the third legendary of the sun/moon trio would look like. A popular theory was something like pic related - some sort of beast with the same design philosophy as Solgaleo and Lunala (read: a white body and space-like markings). Of course, Necrozma turned out to defy expectations - yet there was a clue many failed to catch. If solgaleo is the sun and lunala is the moon, what would the third legendary be? Pic related seems to have either guessed “the stars”, or simply not caught on to the fact that there’s gotta be a third element to the symbolism.
