We were hooked, battled constantly, got sucked into the who Mew under the truck thing, Mewthree, Charcolt, Pikablu...all that shit. We even got two of our friends to get Red and Blue and we'd have battles all day every day over weekends. Then we even started collecting the cards just for shits and giggles.
Then Gen 3 rolled around, my brother got too cool for video games, and my friends all stuck to playing FPS games and Madden.
