- Stealth Rock/Sword Dance
Earthquake is Landorus-T's most reliable STAB move that deals large amounts of damage to Steel-types such as Magearna, Magnezone, and Mega Mawile, as well as nearly OHKOing physically defensive Toxapex. When combined with Flyinium Z, Fly turns into a 175-Base Power STAB Flying-type move that shreds through bulky Grass-types such as Tapu Bulu and Tangrowth and hits Mega Heracross harder than anything else. Although Supersonic Skystrike is best saved for Grass-types, it can also be used as a one-time nuke to muscle through bulkier Pokemon such as Clefable, Tapu Fini, and Ferrothorn. Gravity removes the Ground immunity from Flying-types such as Zapdos, Celesteela, Skarmory, and opposing Landorus-T for 4 turns after it's used so Landorus-T has a much easier time breaking through them with Earthquake. Smack Down is an alternative that functions similarily, but it damages Flying-types such as Mega Pinsir immediately and prevents the opponent from abusing Landorus-T's own Gravity. Stealth Rock is best used in the last slot if your team lacks a user of the move, as Landorus-T is able to find many opportunities to force switches and get it up safely. It's also able to heavily pressure Mega Sableye and most bulkier Defog users, so it is able to keep Stealth Rock on the field with ease. Swords Dance can be used if you already have a Stealth Rock user, as it significantly increases Landorus-T's breaking potential versus bulkier teams such as stall and balance.
