Ask for buffs to BST and abilities/movepools instead, asking for Megas/Regionals/Gmax forms is just setting you up for disappointment and retroactively lowering the value of your fave Pokemon by forcing upgrades onto your Pokemon that have a finite lifecycle under GF's direction.
Look at shitmons like Mawile and Sableye, they had their fans before Gen 6 and made the most of what they had. Then they drank the kool-aid that was X and Y/ORASS and then got burned later on when it became clear that megas would not stick around. They reached the apogee of usefulness in the eyes of many and now that they got stripped of these steroids they are looked down upon EVEN MORE now than they were before.
I guarantee you all you people ITT dreaming about Gmax forms for your new Galar bros are not really fans of their Pokemon, because they still think they are missing something. Thankfully these forms are just cosmetic since most Gmax exclusive moves are dogshit and pointless, but you're still advocating for them to be given momentary gifts that do not help them in the long run. That Gmax Orbeetle you think looks badass? Well enjoy it while it lasts Jimmy, because its never coming back, or never being reintegrated into a new retconned evolution or whatever sized for scale.
