it might also be neat to speedrun getting a steel monotype team (alolan sandslash/excadrill/skarmory/doublade/corviknight/aggron would all be steel types that are reasonably easy to obtain early on) and becoming a player gym leader, or even seeing if multi battles could be done and cooperating with bumpbro to co-operate the steel/dragon gym
