Tomorrow most of you will finally get Oras. The games don't have new megas or the Battle frontier, however at the end of the game some NCPs tells you that more pokémon are reacting to the mega stones, the BF is being builded and Steven is no longer the champion (the new one is Wallace). So, we'll definetly going to get new megaevolutions, a battle frontier and wallace as new champion (while we'll probably be able to fight Steven in a cave like in emerald), but when and how? I have 3 theories:
1)DLC: while it would be the most rightful choice for the poor bastards that buyed Oras expecting to get all the stuff listed above, and if this was planned it may have been a great idea to don't let leakers spoiler new megas and areas like in X and Y, but it would be a no-sense action for the GF company. First of all, they would give us a lot of content that they could use for others games (see points 2 and 3), second of all, it would have to be free, because a pay-for-dlc would shock the fans and be a really incoerent move by the GF (who said to be against the idea a non-free dlc during X and Y), and then it would not gather new coustumers who cancelled the pre-order or decided to not buy the game for the absence of the contenets listed above.
2) Pokemon Delta Emerald: It could be the best pokémon game ever created, insist of some plot-hole leaved by Oras and implement all the elements above in a new game that could be estremely lucrative for the Gf and very satisfing for the fans, but it would also risk to end up like HG and SS remakes that, even thought they were probably the best games in all the series, haven't selled so much copies and persuased the Gf to wait a little bit before making a new remakes.
3) A huge Pokemon Z project: we know that a lot of people didn't like X and Y, and i don't blame them too much, so, even thought it seems a little bit weird, this choice could help Gf to regain interest in a third Generation 6 entirely new game. What are your thoughts?
