Sun has been one of the best Pokemon experiences for me in a long time. No joke, it's up there with Platinum for me in terms of sheer quality.
The world layout in some of the best in the series. And it holds so many surprises and memorable moments. Like when those two Team Skull goons catch you off guard in the first trial?

Originally, when I first started, I liked Bulbasaur, Gengar, Zapdos, Hitmonchan and Scyther.
Lugia was my favorite from the moment I saw 2000 onward.
These days some of my very favorites include Suicune, Croagunk, Bulbasaur, Watchog, Celebi and Jirachi. It's so hard to pick one.

Johto feels like home to me. Sinnoh was my favorite to explore though.

You used to be able to talk about the game here. Varied movesets, incompletely trained Pokemon, variety were all the bread and butter of the community.
This is just what happens when a community shifts. The original members grow and move on, and are replaced by kids (age 15-20) who are still going through puberty, so their hormones are all whacked out, so they can't help but be angry/unhappy at everything. So I guess it's not their fault that they're unable to do anything but shitpost. Their brains aren't evolved to form concise discussion, and they're still insecure in themselves so they don't feel like they can really express themselves because they can't deal with being judged.

It's really sad. Maybe someday, some of you will be able to contribute to and take comfort in the simple pleasure that is having a non-hostile discussion about your interests online
