I'm perfectly fine with the fairy type. It's not like dragons are immediately shit and unusable.
For example, my Hydreigon can carry Flash Cannon and will likely outspeed many of them. If they're expecting a Draco Meteor and switch into their Fairy, I might be able to out-predict and Flash Cannon them there. Worst case scenario, I can switch out and still have my Hydreigon be a threat to their other Pokemon.
I just hope that Fairy types aren't just a 'cute' type and some are proper monsters, like Xerneas.
