>>44624431For my OC Artemis, some of her Pokemon are a ... tad mental, while others are almost unsuited for battle.
Kattie, her uncreatively named A-Persian (re-nicknamed "Katrina" when she got older to come up with better names, she's had the Meowth since she was like 5 or 6). Lazy to a fault, though she'll sometimes cause messes during the night on unsupervised adventures, Artemis so rarely sees her cat awake that she'll often not even bothering keeping her in a ball. (plus, as the family pet, it wasn't usually balled either so now it would just be weird to do so)
Woobie, her Swoobat and her main Pokemon, prior to evolution, his psychic link to his owner was strong enough to overpower his own emotions, meaning its expressions and reactions were dependant more on Artemis than it's own, obfuscating much of his actual personality. Evolving refined this so that Woobie can better distinguish between his emotions, and that of whomever he is strongest linked to, which can be done as easily as Heart Stamping the chosen person's forehead or chest. (It doesn't hurt, because he uses Heal Pulse afterward)
Less notably, she also has a Cutiefly, Piplup, Spritzee, and Snubbull.
Cutiefly and Spritzee loathe their trainer with a passion, Snubbull is hyper-aggressive until you give it any sort of positive attention, Piplup thinks it can fly (and believed it so strongly, that it almost can)
